The only problem about this podcast is that once it gets to the end, you sit there longing for the story they created to be real.
I did a review of the Sanspants Radio podcasts earlier this year, which you can check out here. I quickly skimmed over one of their podcasts, entitled “Movie Maintenance,” but I want to go over it again because it’s so good.
“Movie Maintenance” is a podcast created by the podcast group/network/radio station Sanspants Radio. They try to improve upon different movies, TV shows and occasionally book series by basically coming up with Fanfiction.
You may scoff at the word “Fanfiction,” but you don’t understand: it’s so good.
A writer whose name is Gabe comes up with some absolutely amazing stories and ideas for the movies or TV shows that they cover. He made an absolutely amazing sequel to Jaws, a Saw film that could make the entire series great and a Hannibal book I wish was real.
Some episodes are so good and rich with the best ideas, and some are spent just complain about how bad the movie/TV show (/book) is.
The only problem about this podcast is that once it gets to the end, you sit there longing for the story they created to be real. Other than that, it’s amazing and you should be listening to it. Go. Do it. Now.
